The Aya Teruha Suspension Bridge is a pedestrian bridge with a span of 250 meters (820 feet) and a height of 142 meters (466 feet) which spans the Aya River Valley. Visitors here can cross this suspension bridge while gazing out at the spectacular evergreen forest that extends to the Aya Minamigawa River. With a height of 142 meters (466 feet), visitors will only see a trickle of the Aya Minamigawa River when looking down from the bridge. Visitors will feel weak in the knees from standing right over the river. Nearby is the Shoyo Jyurin Culture Museum where documents about the evergreen forest of Aya are on display.
