At exhibition zones which have been organized into six, visitors can learn about the history of overcoming pollution in Kitakyushu as well as comprehensively learning about immediate environmental issues and global environmental problems. In addition, the Kitakyushu Environment Museum is a building with the latest environmental technology and has environmentally friendly construction. Proactively employing natural and recycled materials and using sunlight as energy throughout the facility, the Kitakyushu Environment Museum is an environmentally friendly building.
