Oki Circulation Center “Kururun”

Oki Circulation Center is a facility which makes use of biomass resources like kitchen and human waste that have been a troubling issue in the past using a methane fermentation technique and utilizing the energy for agricultural use of digestive liquid fertilizer after fermentation. At the Environmental Education Building, the town of Oki explains its aim for cyclical town development in an easy to understand format. Oki Circulation Center also features a biodiesel (BDF) plant, wind-generated electricity and a photovoltaic facility.
