The “Kokonoe Yume Suspension Bridge” is Japan’s tallest suspension bridge which people can cross. It is located near a railway line and near the “Yamanami Highway”, a popular route for school excursions. This suspension bridge is also found near the Kujubo Gatsuru Tade Wetlands, an area registered in the Ramsar Convention*. Here visitors can feel the grand nature of the area. In winter, there is a ski slope. Finally, there is a nature experience menu where students can compete in team sports and individual sports.
*The Ramsar Convention is an international treaty for the conservation and sustainable utilization of wetlands.
