Space Learning at Tanegashima Space Center

In the Tanegashima Space Center, visitors will enjoy learning about space development using life-sized models. Visitors can enter and experience the full-scale model of the Japanese Experiment Module ”Kibo”, part of the International Space Station. At the Rocket Launch Theater, experience the moment of lift-off of JAXA’s main rocket, the H-IIA, on a large screen with full audio. With an advanced booking, visitors can tour the launch-related facilities on a guided tour.
